We visited the Willoughby Museum of History to learn about the life of the pioneers through the exhibits about the day-to-day experiences pioneers had to deal with. I remember noting my favorite exhibition of the pioneers with my mother, while she read the plaque to me.
It was about the way the pioneers dressed and made their clothes.
Well, I have and you best believe when I tell you my life hasn’t been the same since.
Can you picture living without your mother, the lady who raised you, took good care of you, birthed you?
Later those nights, we would head back to the hotel room and discuss what we learned and liked each day.
I now appreciate all that I have learned from my mom about history, society, and culture, including my family and myself through these small trips.
Although I was still really young, I understood just about everything I learned from my mother in this trip.
Once the light was seen through the thick fabric of the hotel curtains, we all got ready to go out.
My mother has always been a very strong role model to me, and growing up with someone like her to look up to has changed my life in many ways.
She has helped me grow physically, intellectually, and considerately.
